Like most newborns, Grace slept the whole day through. Even when she was being passed around.

I remember feeling blissfully exhausted this day. (Possible?)

We were wondering where Grace got her long, skinny feet. Turns out, Great Grandmommy had those feet too! She was proud to have passed on her monkey-toe genes.

I'm about a year and 23 months behind on this blog

Grace will be 2 in a month and I need to catch up!! I have so many pictures, I don't know that I ever will!! I feel overwhelmed! - Captions and stories will be limited

The rest of our 1st day home

Grace took some naps, had her 1st bath, and partied all night long with her Grandma Graham. Thank you Mom!!!

Where are the videos?

Okay, we're totally cheap and still own an old school video camera with tapes. We plan on movin' up in the world and converting those to DVDs soon, but until we do, online videos are limited.

Of course I sat in the back with Grace. I have never been more nervous about Gabe's driving. He did fine, and we made it home safely. Right before we went into the house, we gave each other a long look that said- "What in the world have we gotten ourselves into?"

A day or two after I had Grace, I was feeling good and ventured out into the hospital for a snack. A man asked me when my baby was due. I can see why-

Our nurse made us feel calm and relaxed, despite the situation we were in. Her comforting British accent helped too. :)

*In all the excitement, we forgot to take pictures of some of the wonderful baby-holders who came to visit us in the hospital. -An extra special SORRY to Grandma Sandra Pline! She spent the night and was the first family member to hold our Gracie. She really was there! :)
